We implement rigorous technical and administrative security measures within Firebase to protect the transmitted data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, because the files are also stored locally in the user's public directory, we highly recommend keeping your device updated and secure.

FormaG was developed as a result of a Bachelor's Degree Thesis in Civil Engineering at the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE) and subsequently improved during postgraduate studies at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
The app is intended for use by students, professors, researchers, construction companies, inspection bodies, engineering professionals, and others interested in the morphology analysis of coarse aggregates.
FormaG is provided free of charge. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application solely for educational, professional, or research purposes.

The application provides automated computer-vision tools to assist in obtaining morphological parameters of aggregates. An operating manual is provided within the app and must be consulted by the user to understand its correct operation.
The developer is not responsible for misinterpretations, incorrect camera calibrations, or inappropriate use of the results generated by the app.
By using FormaG, you agree to use the app only for lawful purposes, avoid exploiting vulnerabilities, and acknowledge that accuracy directly depends on your correct image capture and data entry.
FormaG is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. The developer is not liable for technical or professional engineering decisions made based exclusively on the app's reports. The user and the responsible technical professional are entirely responsible for validating and cross-checking the results obtained in compliance with current local and national technical standards (e.g., ABNT, ASTM).
The developer may modify or discontinue app features without prior notice. When significant changes in data processing occur, updated terms will be presented at app launch to collect fresh user consent.
